Discussion: Our nice winter storm is right on schedule. Snow should continue through tomorrow and then turn to shower for the start of the week.
Long-term models show snow showers ending on Monday with Tuesday and Wednesday being dry and very cold. Models are in conflict on what will happen next so I will leave that for later.

TRENDS AND TIMING
Precipitation: Steady snow should fall for the next 24 hours. Snow should turn to showers tomorrow afternoon.
Freezing levels: Freezing levels will continue to be very low. Cold arctic air will flow in on Monday bringing negative digit lows to the area.
Winds: Winds will continue to be blustery through the day. Winds will taper early tomorrow morning and then begin to shift north.
