General Discussion: A cold front will move through the mountains today. The rain will begin to taper off behind the front. Tomorrow will be mostly dry with a few lingering snow showers hanging over the crest.

Long-term: Another system tracking toward the mountains will bring cooler temperatures and snow to the mountains tomorrow night. Snow will continue Sunday and Monday.

TRENDS AND TIMING
Precipitation: Rain will continue today. Once the front moves through the rain will begin to taper off. Not much moisture is expected after midnight tonight. Light intermittent snow showers will hang around tomorrow.

Freezing levels: Freezing levels are expected to fall below pass level sometime after 10pm tonight.

Winds: Ridge top winds will continue to be gusty today. Winds will begin to taper off tomorrow. Westerly flow will continue through the weekend.
