Time and Day: 0830 Monday
The Snapshot: This nice snow will taper off today; mostly
dry for the rest of the week. The snow vs. rain game starts again next weekend.
The Science: The Puget Sound Convergence
zone, producing these snow showers will weaken today. Cooler northerly flow aloft will begin to dry
and stabilize the atmosphere this afternoon, bringing an end to the
precipitation. Except for few weak
disturbances producing some light snow showers, the rest of the week will be
mostly dry with partial clearing.
Long
Range: Another
frontal system developing later this week could bring another round of
rain/snow for the upcoming weekend.
